Founder and Owner Paige Welch:

Paige Welch is a Virginia Beach born and raised native. She made her first raw vegan cake for hers son, Wesley's, first birthday in 2015. While being pregnant, she became aware how important what you consume is and she wanted to make sure he had a cake that was made with wholesome ingredients. Empowered Plant Cakes was founded in 2018 and Wesley still looks forward to which cake he will pick for his Birthday every year. You may even find him our at farmer's markets helping work the booth these days.
